Behind the Parish Church of St Mary, Cobham you will find the quadrangular building of New College and almshouses retaining the remains of the original foundations of the college for priests, built by Sir John de Cobham in 1362.


The almshouses are now occupied by the elderly of the parish. The college is open to the public occasionally for visits and events . However, the outside of the building is normally viewable.

Almshouses based on a medieval chantry, built in 1362 and partly rebuilt in 1598. Originally endowed by Sir John de Cobham and his descendants.

Pricing

Adults: £6.50 for guided tour, including refreshments.
