It is defining the new rules of English sparkling wine, having established the largest single organic vineyard in the UK, covering an area of more than 800 acres. Join Silverhand to learn about the history of the estate, the sustainable and ethical practices and the organic farming and viticulture.
Come and experience the Silverhand Estate from a different view point. You will start and finish the tour in a retro Land Rover and also get to enjoy a walk through the picturesque vineyard all while learning about the history of the Estate, the sustainable and ethical practices and the organic farming and viticulture.
Sparkling wine production is at the heart of everything they do at the Silverhand Estate. Discover the journey from vine to glass and how they make a range of award-winning wines, from pressing the grapes to the state of the art bottling line. Learn about the different methods of wine making that are used at the estate to create a stunning portfolio of wines, both still and sparkling.
On the day please arrive at least 10 minutes before your tour is due to begin, so the group can get together and head off promptly at 12noon.
The tour will last for approximately 90 minutes, and you will get to enjoy five wines. This will include a mix of delicious still and sparkling wines from the Silverhand Estate.
The vineyard element of the tour will last about 45 minutes, and will be spent outdoors so please do wear appropriate footwear and clothing for the weather.
