Summer Sounds is back, and we can’t wait for you to join us for an afternoon of amazing live music from 4 incredible bands!

Summer Sounds Family Music Festival

Sunday 8th June 2pm – 6pm (Gates open 1.30pm)

The Fort Gardens, Gravesend

Free Event

The gates open at 1.30pm with the event starting at 2pm and finishing at 6pm

Please bring along your own chairs, picnic mats and of course picnics! (Gazebos are not permitted). As this is an outdoor event, please be prepared for a variety of weather.

Musicians performing

Swing Noir

Swing Noir take you back to the early 20th century, with music from the 1930's, through to the 1960's. Playing swing, jazz and early popular music, with a gypsy jazz style influence, they, bringing a smooth sound, rich with vocal harmonies. With music from the likes of Ella Fitzgerald, Louis Armstrong and Bing Crosby, to Mel Torme, Judy Garland and Doris Day, and with influences from musicians such as Django Reinhardt, Ray Brown and Barney Kessel, Swing Noir bring an authentic vintage vibe to any event. 

Capital Party Duo

Capital Party Duo featuring Rob and Melvin from Capital Party, one of the UK’s top function bands. Playing acoustic hits from Frank Sinatra, to Backstreet Boys to Ricky Martin, and everything in between! Expect sing along anthems and odd socks.  

 

Southern Roots

Southern Roots is an Americana and country acoustic trio from East Kent, blending simple, authentic sounds with heartfelt energy. Their music is a rich tapestry of soulful melodies and foot-stomping rhythms, woven together with Hannah Caldwell’s standout vocals. 

 

Delivering a "country-kissed Americana" vibe, their setlist features sing-along favourites from Fleetwood Mac, Morgan Wade, Sheryl Crow, Tom Petty, Miley Cyrus, Shania Twain, Taylor Swift, and more. 

 

Made up of Hannah Caldwell (vocals and guitar), Dave Hayes (percussion), and Alan Clarke (guitar), Southern Roots are known for their easy-going spirit, sing-along sets, and genuine connection with every crowd they play for. 

 

 

The Herringbone Cocktail Club (Headlining)

The Herringbone Cocktail Club is a truly unique and captivating fourpiece from London, UK. With their barbershop-tight harmonies and incredible musical arrangements, they have been lighting up events all over the world since 2018.

And these guys don't just play your average covers; they mix cocktails. Uniquely blended and perfectly balanced, these mini musical adventures will leave you screaming for more.
